Spice Girls Reunited!

One of the most popular groups in the 1990’s was the British all girl group the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls are made up of Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice, Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice, Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice, Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice and Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice have not performed together since they broke up in 2001. After the Geri left the group in the middle of a tour in 2001, the remaining girls finished out the tour and then called it quits. At the time of their break up they was said to be a lot of fighting going on which lead to Geri walking out.

Now, here it is 6 years later and after the girl’s so not successful solo careers they are going to reunite and give their fans one more short tour as their way of saying thanks. Since the group broke up they have done their solo thing but four of the five girls have gone to have kids and raising the family. Perhaps the most famous Spice Girl has become Victoria Beckham, when she married soccer superstar David Beckham she catapulted into royalty and has not looked back since.

The girls have said they did not speak to each other for years after the break up but some of the girls kept in touch with others and after a short rift they became friends again, all four girls are named as Godmothers to Geri’s baby daughter. The questions remains will they rise again to the popularity they once had. Some critics say no, they are not looking to reform the band they are simply looking to do a number of shows and go back to their lives. Good luck to the Spice Girls, today they are older and wiser and if they did not think they would do ok in a reunion then they would not do it.
