Beyonce formerly a member of Destiny’s Child is a superstar in her own right. She had a huge successful following with their successful band. Beyonce started singing at a young age under the direction of her dad. She and friends LaTavia Roberson ,Kelly Rowland and Le Toya Luckett formed a group and actually got on Star Search, their band name was Girl’s Tyme and in their first competition they lost. After many sacrifices from the family, they landed a record deal in 1996. Beyonce went to the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston Texas.

The band was renamed Destiny’s Child in 1998 they had their first hit called No, No , No Part 2. Destiny’s Child’s ever revolving members began in 1998 with problems with two members. Soon after that Matthew Knowles made the band a trio and it wasn’t until Michelle Williams came on board that the group finally hit the big time. In 2003, Beyonce recorded a solo album called Dangerously in Love, it went certified Platinum in a short 3 weeks. Beyonce had a huge fan following and became a force to be reckoned with.

In 2004, Beyonce won 5 Grammy Awards proving her vocal talents were no joke. In 2005, she released he second solo album called Check on it and in 2006 she released her third album called B’Day. Beyonce ventured into movies costarring in the Austin Powers :Goldmember with Mike Myers, The Fighting Temptations with Cuba Gooding Jr and Pink Panther with Steve Martin and in the 2006 hit film Dream Girls with Eddie Murphy.

What is next for Beyonce in her music , film and personal life, she has been dating rapper and basketball mogul Jay Z for a number of years now? No matter what venue Beyonce decides to spread her wings in , she will be successful in anything she does.
